About me

I am Jasmin. Content creator by passion - with a business mind. As a German-American, I grew up in Franconia, experienced Bedbucks in the Big Apple, survived paraglide flights in Argentina, and lost my heart to creative Berlin.

I am fascinated by cultures and their unique characteristics and interested in sustainability, future technology, digitalization, and the phenomenon of how trends emerge.

Since 2015, I worked in several focus areas and industries: Yoga and Healthy Living, Culture and Travel, Employer Branding and Talent Relationship Management, Banking and Insurance, Automotive and Digitalization...

“Focus on how to be social, not on how to do social.” – Jay Baer, Convince & Convert

I always look forward to the challenge of fitting animating content into 240 characters of a social media post, turning videos into "Thumbstoppers" and phrasing blog posts in such a way that users find them when and where they are looking for information.

since university, I knew that I wanted to live and work as an independent digital nomad. a lifestyle that fully resonated w/ my needs and character.
I wrote my bachelor's thesis about digital nomads, was more interested in new work formats, and advocated hybrid work in every career stage. But I still went the "traditional road", doing internships and taking on full-time jobs, only hustling freelance on the side. My financial fears and bullshit bingo were just too loud back then. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still more than grateful for the lessons I learned and the people I met!

but from one day to the other we found ourselves in a global pandemic and I found myself working precisely the way I envisioned: remote from home, working concentrated, and still collaborating w/ colleagues through digital solutions. Amazed! But I was working in the festival industry – which as you can imagine was struck – and I had to deal w/ months of short-time work.
I needed a plan B in case festivals would still be forbidden for longer, and my job would be in danger. It turns out it was, so I had to jump and fulfill my dream of a digital nomad lifestyle, quit my job, and start full-time freelancing as a copywriter and content marketing manager.

AND THE UNIVERSE ANSWERED: precisely in these last brutal days of short-time work, a former employer contacted me because they needed support in the marketing team after winning a huge client. And suddenly, I got my first client. And suddenly, I got my following clients contacting me via LinkedIn, and it went on like this. I have never had to market myself and apply for a freelance job. I appreciate every one of you people whom I was able to collaborate with.

And now I want to share my experiences w/ all the amazing and talented female and non-binary small business owners and those who want to start their own freelancing career in marketing.
